Fremont

Fremont is a town that’s home to about 700 residents. It is located in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, encompassing a total area of approximately 21 square miles. Fremont was incorporated on March 1882, and was home to a large number of dairy farmers, loggers, cheese makers, and clammers, who supplied shells to two nearby button factories.

Known as the “White Bass Capital of the World,” the town of Fremont is one of the top destinations in the region for relaxation and recreation. Nestled on the scenic banks of northeast Wisconsin’s Wolf River, the town offers a plethora of activities and destinations, from golf to water sports, nature trails to shopping centers and dining venues, and a whole lot more.
